Most sport sandals offer a flat foam footbed and call it comfort. These orthopedic-style sport sandals are built differently — a polyurethane footbed with metatarsal support, a tempered steel shank for structural stability, and an extra-wide toe box that gives your forefoot room to spread naturally. Picture wearing these through a full travel day — airport, cobblestones, sightseeing — and arriving without the foot fatigue that follows most sandals.

Built for active days — walking, travel, errands, and all-day wear with genuine orthopedic-style arch support and a roomy toe box.
- Extra-wide toe box: the forefoot spreads naturally — no squeezing, no pressure points across the toes or forefoot.
- Orthopedic-style arch support footbed: polyurethane cushioning with metatarsal support — reduces strain from the forefoot through the lower back on long days.
- Two-way adjustable straps: customize the fit from both sides — easy on/off, secure hold for walking on uneven surfaces.

The extra-wide toe box stays open through the entire forefoot — room for sensitive feet, wide feet, or anyone who needs genuine forefoot space.
Notice in the image above how the forefoot sits open instead of being compressed. Most sport sandals use a standard last that narrows at the front and creates pressure points within an hour of walking. The orthopedic-style wide last here follows the natural spread of the foot, leaving the toes and forefoot unpressured whether you’re on pavement, boardwalks, or uneven terrain.

Polyurethane footbed with metatarsal support and tempered steel shank — orthopedic-style arch support built into every step.
What’s inside
- Fit: Extra-wide toe box — designed for wide feet, sensitive forefeet, and anyone who needs genuine forefoot room.
- Upper: Soft padded stretch fabric — flexes with your foot, eliminates pressure points across the toes.
- Footbed: Orthopedic-style polyurethane with metatarsal support — cushions the ball of the foot during extended walking.
- Shank: Tempered steel — stable structural foundation for confident walking on varied surfaces.
- Outsole: Lightweight rubber — non-slip traction on pavement, tile, and uneven terrain.
- Closure: Two-way adjustable straps — hook-and-loop velcro, easy on/off, customizable fit.
- Why not a $30 sport sandal: standard sport sandals use rigid narrow toe boxes and flat foam footbeds. The steel shank, metatarsal support, and orthopedic-style wide last here are built for feet that need real structural support — not a standard mold with a wider strap.
- Colors: Black (our most popular), Blue, Nude.
- Sizes: 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 10 US. Note: sizes 5, 5.5, and 10.5 are not available in this style.
- Season: Spring, Summer.

The wide forefoot is visible from the front — compare to standard sport sandals that taper toward the toe.
Questions we hear from shoppers
- Is the arch support firm enough for all-day walking? The orthopedic-style polyurethane footbed with steel shank provides structured support — firmer than foam-only sandals, designed for extended walking on varied surfaces.
- Will the straps stay secure during walking? The two-way hook-and-loop straps lock in place — no slipping or loosening during normal walking pace.
- Will the stretch upper hold its shape? The padded stretch fabric molds to your foot shape over the first few wears without going baggy or losing structure.
Fit advice
Order your regular US size — the extra-wide toe box gives generous forefoot room at true-to-size. If you have wide feet or need extra forefoot length, size up half a size. The two-way adjustable straps let you fine-tune the fit across the midfoot regardless of foot width. Available in sizes 6–10 with half sizes throughout.
